Collection: "Urban Safari" Summer Panama Hats

When did you last go on an epic adventure?

The collection of summer hats "Urban Safari" is a perfect excuse to inject some much-needed adventure into the summer, even if we do have to staycate for now.

The collection is inspired by the documentaries of David Attenborough, about how fragile our habitats are, and how vital it is to recognise the circle of life.

The hats are blocked out of Panama straw, which is handwoven in Equador by the indigenous people and dyed into a variety of vibrant colours. We invite you to marvel at the craftsmanship of the weavers!

The hats then are hand-trimmed with distressed Petersham ribbon and embroidered with the bespoke sequences of Safari animals created specifically for this collection using recycled plastic.

The shape of the hat - the boater style hat - is a staple of the summer wardrobe, and is not only practical as an SPF protection, but also because of the longer brim acts as an added social distancing tool.
